Teaching and administering the library program has been a lifelong career for me. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, with a minor in Library Science, as well as a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from NAU. Prior to my employment with the Scottsdale Unified School District, I was the assistant reference librarian for the Wyoming State Library. When we relocated to Arizona for my husband's job, I also worked in the ASU College of Law Library.
Reading and sharing new books and resources with students and teachers is a rewarding aspect of being a librarian. Over the course of the school year, hundreds of new titles are added to the Anasazi Library, as well as updated online resources. When students get excited about the books they are reading and the information they use to expand their knowledge, we know we have helped them on their road to success as life-long learners. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
